About Tracey

Tracey Trambauer (Lakshmi), Still Lake Yoga owner and teacher, holds the title Yoga Acharya, Master of Yoga. She also holds the Yoga Alliance designation "Registered Yoga Instructor 500," indicating that she has completed at least 500 hours of yoga teacher training in a Yoga Alliance approved program.  Tracey has been teaching yoga for over ten years, and for over twenty years she has studied spiritual approaches to living, natural modes of healing, and proper exercise and nutrition.

Sivananda Certification

In the summer of 2000, Tracey received training and certification at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Quebec. Upon returning from this month-long immersion in the yogic lifestyle, she was invited to Clermont to teach to the South Lake community.

Additional Training

To complement over ten years of teaching experience, Tracey not only has returned to the Sivananda Centre in Quebec, but also has periodically trained with many teachers of diverse yogic backgrounds.

In the Summer of 2005, she spent a month in Northern India taking Advanced Teacher Training at a Sivananda Ashram, achieving the title Yoga Acharya, or Master of Yoga.

Tracey teaches yoga full time and dedicates the majority of her time outside of the yoga studio to further study of hatha yoga, its health benefits, yoga philosophy (including the Yoga Sutras and Vedanta), meditation, and holistic wellness. Tracey and her husband Eric also study and practice Kirtan, Sanskrit chanting. Together they are dedicated to sharing all the transformational aspects of traditional yoga.
